How to pop Jiffy Pop

1. Burner on medium

   Set the pan flat on a gas or electric coil burner over medium heat.

2. Shake back and forth

   Keep the pan moving as it heats. Still kernels scorch on the bottom.

3. Watch the foil rise

   Popping kernels push the foil up. Keep shaking while it swells.

4. Off the heat

   When the foil is fully expanded and the popping slows, lift the pan off the burner.

Quickly prepare on a gas range, electric range or camp stove by placing on the burner and shaking back and forth until foil is fully expanded, approximately 2 to 5 minutes.
